School Policies

1. Students must be dressed appropriately for their driving lessons and MUST always bring their Learner’s License. 
2. NO PASSENGERS are allowed in the car during the lessons. 
3. Standby road tests will be charged as per the road test package, along with an additional $85.00/hr* after the initial waiting time.
4. If the student chooses to use their own car, there will be a $100* fee for the instructor to join.
5. To cancel or re-book your appointment for the road test, please contact ICBC 48 hours prior to the road test. 
6. Students who do not cancel their lesson 24 hours before the scheduled time will not be refunded the fee for the cancelled lesson. 
7. If the fee was not paid in advance, the student will need to pay at their next lesson. 
8. The student is responsible for the cancellation fee ($25.00) if they fail to inform ICBC 48 hours before the road test.
9. For road tests, all students must present 2 pieces of valid government-issued identification along with their driving license (e.g., Passport, birth certificate, PR card, etc.). 
10. Any remaining fees owed to the driving school MUST be settled prior to the road test. He/She must bring sufficient funds to cover the ICBC road test, which costs approximately $35.00 for the class 7 license and $50.00 for the class 5 license. 
11. When the student has passed, they should prepare to pay another $75.00 for the license issuance fee to ICBC. 
12. There are no refunds for any completed lessons. If a package is cancelled, the package price will no longer apply, and the refund will be based on the regular hourly rate of $64.99, plus an administration fee of $50. 
13. There are No Refunds for Commercial Training if the student has selected any package for Class 4 and Class 4 Unrestricted. 
14. Any package signed up for must be completed within a year from the date of joining; failing to complete lessons within this timeframe will void the remaining lessons. 
15. During on road sessions the driving instructor may take control of the vehicle at any time in case of an emergency.

1. Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, and painful swallowing, must isolate at home for a minimum of 14 days. 
2. This also applies to anyone under the direction of the Provincial Health Officer to self-isolate. 
3. Additionally, anyone who has arrived from outside of Canada or is a contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case must self-isolate for 14 days and monitor for symptoms. 

Note: 

Students attending driving lessons must have face masks and gloves with them. Without a face mask, no road test or driving lesson will be provided, and there will be no refund for that lesson or road test.
